Brentford FC choose StreamAMG to replace iFollow as streaming provider

As part of the new website project, StreamAMG will provide the new ‘BuzzBox’ video platform, replacing iFollow.

From the outset of the 2022/23 season, Buzzbox will use StreamAMG’s technology to deliver live match streams, behind the scenes content, exclusive Member and Season Ticket Holder video, and flexible subscription options.

Via BuzzBox, Brentford FC will continue to provide audio commentary across all Premier League games. As with the EFL iFollow service, there will be the option to do this on a season-long or match-by-match basis. The new streaming service will enable the club to cover First Team friendlies, and more B Team and Women’s team fixtures than we were able to do previously. There will be a range of subscription options available and all prices will remain as they were during the 2021/22 season. Audio streaming is also available as a benefit to 2022/23 Members and Season Ticket Holders. There will be a free trial period at the start of the season to allow all fans to try the new service.

Steve Watts, Marketing Services Director at Brentford FC: “Live and on-demand video is key in how we engage with our fans. With the help of StreamAMG’s innovation we can bring them closer to the action than ever before. The ability to reach our fans that are unable to regularly visit Brentford Community Stadium, while improving our membership packages, will be significant, as we enter our second Premier League season.”

Hugo Sharman, CEO at StreamAMG added: “We are delighted to support Brentford in their efforts to deliver digital video streaming to Premier League standards, and in doing so reinforce StreamAMG as the go-to partner in top-tier sports.”
